All chart values are nominal. Capacity referenced to 70 °F.
Under no circumstances are DOT E cylinders to be filled to a pressure exceeding the marked service pressure at 70 °F. 10% overfill is not allowed for these cylinders.
All ASME storage systems must be installed according to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.169, which, in part, states that each pressure vessel must have an indicating pressure gauge, a spring-loaded safety valve and moisture drain.
BAUER recommends ASME cylinders for all permanent installations.
Contact your local BAUER distributor or the local authority having jurisdiction for state and local code requirements pertaining to the use of high pressure air storage cylinders.
