Securus
is BAUER’S patented cartridge monitoring device that ensures
100% utilization of the air processing cartridge(s). Securus takes
the guessing out of when to replace a cartridge(s) and is a must
for applications that require dry air all the time. A traffic light-like
display gives the operator a visual status of the Securus cartridge:
green = good, yellow = warning of impending cartridge saturation
and red = cartridge saturation with automatic shutdown. For optimum
purity, the shutdown cannot be overridden and a new cartridge(s)
must be installed. A damaged or disconnected cable between the Securus
filter housing and display will also cause a fault condition. Securus
pays for itself by providing 100% utilization of the air processing
cartridge(s), eliminating premature cartridge replacement, and by
preventing down time and unscheduled maintenance to the air processing
system and downstream system as a result of overdue cartridge replacement.
The compressor’s control circuit provides power for operation.
Securus is rated for working pressures for 2000 to 6000 PSIG and
flow rates to 125 SCFM.
