Are
you tired of the inconvenience and expense of renting storage
tanks and buying air, nitrogen or CO2? Tired of fooling with
cumbersome storage tanks and those long drives to get them
refilled? Wondering if you’re going to have enough air
to keep up with the ever-increasing number of players using
air at your field, pro shop or tournament? Frustrated with
the expense and maintenance of troublesome air-driven boosters
and long lines at the air station?
Why buy
air when you can compress your own? One reason for the tremendous
growth of paintball is the increasing use of high pressure
compressed air instead of carbon dioxide (CO2) or nitrogen
(N2). Markers that use air have fewer problems than their
CO2 counterparts and, as a result, shoot more paint more consistently.
Owning a high pressure air compressor and storage tanks relieves
the burden of dealing with a gas supplier and the risk of
dealing with gases that can cause personal injury or worse
if used improperly. Pure, dry, high pressure compressed air
at pressures of 3000 to 5000 psig is the safest and least
expensive propellant medium for markers, and it’s environmentally
friendly.
BAUER
manufactures standard and custom designed high pressure air
compressors and accessories specifically for paintball. BAUER
is the world’s leading manufacturer of high pressure
air compressors and air processing systems. BAUER offers four
series of compressors - Player, Team, Field and Shop - for
paintball. Each series is indicative of the size and capability
of the compressors offered under that series. Each compressor
for paintball includes a BAUER high pressure air processing
system for pure, dry, high pressure compressed air that won’t
freeze or foul the air system on markers. In addition to compressors,
accessory items like storage systems, fill panels and fill
couplings have vastly improved the process of filling tanks.
Tournament air systems using high pressure compressors, storage
and fill panels make tank fills a self-serve convenience for
the player with no waiting in line.
Whether
you’re an individual looking to get the best performance
out of your air-powered marker, a field or shop owner looking
to expand your business by investing in a quality high pressure
compressor, or a tournament promoter or tournament air provider
looking for a better way to provide air to an increasing number
of players, BAUER has the solution. Our expertise in high
pressure makes high pressure safer for you. BAUER is your
partner for pure, dry, high pressure compressed air for paintball.

Air
is a mixture of gases containing, by volume, approximately
78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen with the remaining
1% consisting of trace amounts of several other
gases. |
| Why
is Air Compressed? |
Quite
simply, air is compressed to make it do work.
In its compressed state, air is stored energy.
When properly harnessed, air can be made to perform
many useful tasks as it expands from high pressure
to a lower pressure. For paintball, air makes
for an excellent propellant. |
| What
is Nitrogen? |
Nitrogen
is an inert gas found abundantly in the atmosphere.
A pure nitrogen environment will not support combustion
or life. |
Are
Air and Nitrogen the same? |
| Although
air and nitrogen are used interchangeably in paintball,
they are not the same. Pure nitrogen must be purchased
from a gas supplier in cylinders. |
|
| Carbon
Dioxide (CO2) is a non-flammable, colorless and
odorless gas with a slightly acidic taste. There
are many uses for CO2 such as carbonation of beverages,
refrigeration (dry ice), fire extinguishing and
as a propellant for gas-powered target shooting
pistols and rifles and paintball markers. It is
relatively inert and is non-reactive with many materials.
Carbon dioxide is produced in a variety of ways.
Bulk quantities of carbon dioxide are usually stored
and shipped as liquid. |
